As Russia continues its deadly attacks on Ukraine, temperatures are plummeting and a peace deal seems as far away as ever, UNISON is supporting an emergency fundraiser from the Ukraine Solidarity Campaign.
The union is urging branches and members to donate today to help supply essential aid to frontline workers, including winter clothing, medical trauma kits, heaters, and firefighting equipment.
Donations will also deliver a pick‑up truck to the 10th Mining Rescue Squad in Donetsk Oblast, who lost vital equipment in recent Russian strikes.
If every UNISON branch donated just £10, it would make a massive difference.
