Members of Sefton UNISON Local Government Branch joined thousands of others marching at this year’s Liverpool Pride on Saturday 29th July.
Our Branch’s famous (and heavy!) banner was on proud display alongside many others from the LGBT+ community, Trade Unions, public & private sector workers and members of the public all showing up in huge numbers to unite in celebration and solidarity with the LGBT+ community.
This year we were especially honoured to join with members of the Mersey Marauders FC, an LGBT+ inclusive football club, providing a safe and inclusive space for LGBT+ people from across Merseyside to play football free from discrimination.
Liverpool Pride marked the ‘kit reveal’ of the new Marauders shirts emblazoned with the rainbow and trans flag colours and featuring Sefton UNISON’s logo. The day was a fantastic way to kick off the exciting two-year partnership between Sefton UNISON and the Mersey Marauders FC.
Season Launch
The 2023-24 season is being launched with a double header of games at the Marine Travel Arena on the morning of Sunday 6th August.

- Mersey Unison vs LFC Foundation (KO 11AM)
