Skills for Strengths Convention

The women’s group at Sefton UNISON attended a annual event at the Mechanics Centre Manchester “Skills for Strengths”The women’s group at Sefton UNISON attended an annual UNISON NorthWest event at the Mechanics Centre Manchester  – Skills for Strengths – The Organising Convention.

Held in this historic building, the birthplace of The TUC, the audience saw Sefton UNISON’s women’s group win the H&S award for Health and Wellbeing for their campaign in tackling period poverty.

Jane Evanson and Paula Taylor picked up the award presented to them by our very own general secretary Andrea Egan.
