Commenting on the publication of the Levy review into NHS adult gender dysphoria clinics, UNISON deputy head of health Alan Lofthouse said today:
“On first viewing, the Levy review provides a detailed examination of how adult gender dysphoria services are currently operating.
“It’s encouraging that the report suggests there should be more services and support. This confirms what union members have been telling us.
“The report contains a wide range of findings and areas for action. UNISON will now take the time to consider its contents carefully before responding in full.”
